Youve earned it! This is one of those locations that really is better suited to wide open, expansive, panoramic shots. Immerse yourself in the rich colonial heritage and discover stunning sandstone gorges, razorback ridges, and towering passes. With possibly one of the most insane lookouts in the entire Blue Mountains, and without having to actually hike anywhere to find it, this spot is a favourite. Maybe youve been going through this list and thinking, hmmm, loads of really nice natural locations, but thats not really me. If you enter from the other side, make sure your car is well suited to off road. The picturesque heritage town of Wollombi is the other place we recommend visiting in the Hunter Valley, and its just 35 minutes from Pokolbin. Weve yet to experience this for ourselves, but we know people who have and say it is one of their favourite experiences in the Hunter Valley. It takes roughly 10 minutes longer to reach Broke, whilst Wollombi is just two hours away.
